US Weekly is reporting that the Studio 60 star, Amanda Peet 34, and Troy screenwriter David Benioff, 36,were married Saturday at Friends Seminary, a Quaker school (Peet is analumnus) in New York City. The couple announced their engagement in July, 2005after dating for four years. This is a first marriage for both.
The wedding was a black tie affair. Peet wore a strapless white dress with ablack sash. She carried a bouquet of large white, pink and cream roses. Thebride, who was all smiles, walked down the aisle to a string quartet playingBeethoven’s Piano Concerto.
“It was a beautiful event,” says the actress’ friend, Ken Witty. “Amandalooked beautiful. They passed the rings around so every single person couldtouch them, which was unusual, but nice.”
Celebrity guests included actor Mark Ruffalo and actress Elizabeth Berkley.

“They were both glowing,” Ruffalo tells Us.
After the wedding, guests were shuttled by bus to New York’s Chelsea ArtMuseum for the reception. Guests were treated to the sounds of Dexter LakeClub, the band Peet and her husband selected for their big day.
The actress recently announced on the David Letterman Show that she and Benioff are expecting their first child early next year.

PEOPLE Magazine is reporting that Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker have split up. “They did break up. It’s amicable,” the source says, adding, “They are talking and trying to figure the best course of action for their future. They are trying to work things out.” “It’s distance and demanding careers and not living in same city,” said the source. “It didn’t happen yesterday. It’s been going on for a while.” In an earlier statement issued by Longoria’s rep Liza Anderson on Friday, she said, “Eva and Tony are going through a very difficult time right now, just like any other couple with extremely demanding careers.” However, a source close to Parker told PEOPLE earlier Friday that Parker said rumors of a breakup were not true. While Desperate Housewives has been filming in Los Angeles, the San Antonio Spurs departed Texas on Friday afternoon to begin a training camp in France. Before leaving, Parker joined his team at a “media day” for sportswriters near the San Antonio International Airport, though he did not discuss his relationship with Longoria. Longoria, 31, and Parker, 24, met in November 2004 and, though they played coy at first, by August 2005, Longoria had confirmed they were a couple, asking PEOPLE, “What’s not to like?” In April, Longoria told PEOPLE she is happiest when in a relationship. “There’s no way in the world I would rather be single,” she said. “Tony is too. I’ve said the only reason Tony and I are going to stay together forever is because we’re too lazy to look for someone else.”

The Associated Press is reporting that Reality TV star Anna Nicole Smith exchanged vows with boyfriend Howard K. Stern on a boat near Nassau, but there was no formal marriage and the ceremony is “not legally binding,” her attorney Michael Scott said Friday.Scott said the exchange of vows happened aboard a catamaran Thursday - 18 days after Smith’s 20-year-old son, Daniel, died as he was visiting her in a Nassau hospital, where she had given birth to a baby girl.Stern says he is the father of the baby. The couple “exchanged vows before God” but did not obtain a marriage license, Scott told The Associated Press.

“It was not a formal, legal arrangement,” Scott said.The 38-year-old former Playboy playmate has been mourning the death of her son. Three days earlier, her daughter was born at the same hospital where he died.Cyril Wecht, a forensic pathologist hired by Smith, said her son died from a combination of two antidepressants and methadone. A Nassau funeral home has been holding the remains while awaiting instructions on burial arrangements.Anna Nicole Smith has been married twice.She married Bill Smith in 1985, giving birth to Daniel Smith before divorcing two years later.She wed Texas oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II in 1994, when she was 26 and he was 89. He died the following year. She has since been involved in legal disputes over the estate.Authorities in the Bahamas were awaiting their own toxicology results and a police report on Daniel Smith’s death to determine whether a jury inquest is necessary.

According to BANG Showbiz, Catherine Zeta-Jones has been dropped as the face of T-Mobile in the US. The ‘Chicago’ star has been appearing in TV and print ads for the mobile phone company in America since 2003, and has earned millions from the deal. According to the Wall Street Journal, T-Mobile has now decided to drop Ms. Zeta-Jones from its advertising in favor of a more “man-on-the-street publicity campaign.” Catherine, 37, may still appear in some ads until next year when her contract expires, but she will eventually be phased out. The mother of two, the wife of ‘Basic Instinct’ star Michael Douglas, 62, is also the face of cosmetics company Elizabeth Arden.

I really enjoyed the show Brothers and Sisters last night. It was on right after Desperate Housewives (which was sooo good). The story centers around 5 adult siblings. It was funny to watch their interactions - especially around the dinner table - pretty similar to my life (I am the oldest of 8!!) Unfortunately, the family patriarch (Tom Skerritt) dies and they are all left to deal with the family business and a mystery woman from the father’s past. Love the cast - Calista Flockhart, Sally Field, Rachel Griffiths…Here I am already hooked - I hope they don’t pull the plug on this one….

Lindsay Lohan and Harry Morton split up Thursday, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE – but now they seem to be speaking again. “They are together now,” Lohan’s rep tells PEOPLE. A source close to the actress adds: “They argue, they don’t argue.” At the moment, “They’re communicating. They’re hanging out. Whatever’s going to transpire there is going to transpire.” The outlook for the couple was more dire on Thursday. “Harry broke up with Lindsay yesterday at Chateau Marmont after they had dinner on the courtyard patio,” a source tells PEOPLE. “Nothing happened at dinner, but shortly afterward, he broke up with her.” Why the split? “She was too much drama,” says a source close to Harry. “Lindsay did cut down on the partying, but with her it’s all relative. Harry is sober. It wasn’t the partying that broke them up. Harry’s more low-key and not into the same stuff she’s into.” However, the Lohan pal says, “No one ‘dumped’ anyone. You don’t dump people when you’re 20 and 25. You have a mature relationship, and you take a break and you see what happens. Everyone does that.”

He was also there for her when her Hermes handbag went missing at London’s Heathrow airport earlier this month after they attended the premiere of Lohan’s upcoming film Bobby at the Venice Film Festival.
