Tonight’s episode of AI was…well…quite frankly - BORING. I should have just TiVo’d it and watched later so I could fast forward through….everything (with the exception of a few of my favorites). Here’s the rundown:

Blake Lewis: I was happy to see that my favorite dawg was up first. I like the whole hip-hop thing he’s got going on…I think it’s fresh for AI. Funny how none of the judges knew what song he was singing. Hmmmm. Neither did I. LOL.

Sundance Head: Wasn’t really digging him tonight. I mean, he was okay and everything but nowhere near where he was last week. For me, he always seems like he’s shouting while he sings. Anyways, I’m sure he’ll be fine to make the Final 12.

Jared Cotter: I thought he really came through tonight - much better than last week. He sang “If You Really Love Me” by Stevie Wonder and I thought he sounded great…I thought for sure that Paula would agree with me but she was a little snarky tonight…I think the producers told her to be a little mean tonight. You know - change it up a little bit for her. Whatever.

Chris Sligh: I love this Jack Osbourne lookalike - he has personality plus! Remember, he just wants to see David Hasselhoff cry and so do I…I thought he was okay…not his best that’s for sure but his charisma wise that will push him through.

Brandon Rogers: I thought this was one of his better performances. So much better than last week’s horrible song choice of “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper. Welcome back, Brandon…it’s about time!!

Phil Stacey: I think this is the end of the road for him. I don’t know what in the world possessed him to pick LeeAnn Rimes’ “How Do I Live”. Eeks, even I could hear those pitchy spots. Dude….wrong song!! We’ll probably be saying Bye…Bye…Bye…to Phil on Thursday.

Chris Richardson: Here’s another one of my faves that did not disappoint. He slowed it up a bit tonight and I liked it…Simon said that he sounded “nasally”. I think that’s his favorite word this season. See ya in the Top 12 Chris!!

Sanjaya Malakar: I saved the worst for last. All you teenyboppers out there who are dialing right now…STOP. Once again, this is a singing competition and not a popularity contest. I did like his hair though. Heh heh…oh yeah, I forgot. This is a singing competition. The poor guy. He just has no emotion when he’s up there singing and to me he sounded flat throughout. It’s the end of the road for you Sanjaya. Buh-bye….

Women are up tomorrow night and I know it will be better than tonight…they always are…I just can’t wait to see what Antonella is going to sing…I think she’s going to crack tomorrow night since she knows her days are numbered. Heh heh….
