I think some of the dismayed reaction to Peyton’s United Way spoof on SNL last night is really getting out of hand. For God’s sake, this is a comedy show. Peyton and his family have done countless things for charity and even established “The PeyBack Foundation” whose mission is to “promote the future success of disadvantaged youth by assisting programs that provide leadership and growth opportunities for children at risk.” So come on…this just goes to show that the guy has a sense of humor. You tell me, are you seriously offended by this skit?

That is funny, but I can totally see why people think it’s not.

People that don’t think it’s funny are morons that think the kids are really being injured. Don’t you think they are being hit with SOFT replica footballs and not real hard inflated leather…? Come on.
I never new there was dismay over this skit. I guess I need to go back to google and search for Peyton Manning SNL skit controversy or something….

WHAT?!?!? This was probably the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time. In fact, if you search for this on Youtube (you won’t find it, but) you’ll find a post by the kid who got the tattoo. He was so enthralled by Manning he went straight to Youtube to post a video of his “tattoo he got” when he was on SNL “with Peyton Manning.” If those kids were bothered by the skit, none of them would have done that!
