Sunday morning proved to be quite a scary one for Sandra Bullock and her husband, Jesse James. Orange County Sheriff’s spokesman Jim Amormino told PEOPLE:

“At around 10:40 a.m. James found the suspect, Marcia Valentine, lying on their driveway. He told her to leave, but instead she got into her 2004 silver Mercedes and tried to run him over three to four times. … Valentine tried to kill him.”

Both Sandra and James’ 10 year old son, Jesse Jr., witnessed the whole thing.



Valentine fled the scene, but her vehicle was recognized the next day by an officer and she was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. She has posted her $25,000 bial and will see her day in court on May 22nd.



Valentine has stalked Sandra in the past.
