Jessica Simpson was spotted shopping yesterday in New York City. John Mayer was nowhere to be seen, even though they had apparently hooked up Sunday night, when John spent the night in Jessica’s SoHo Grand Hotel room. Oh brother. On again, off again. Which is it going to be? Make up your minds already.

Is it over for Lindsay Lohan and Calum Best? She was seen partying the other night without Calum in tow, but friends at the Lohan camp say that they are “still going strong”. She hit the Anchor Bar on Spring Street with some friends and Page Six is reporting that she was seen “drinking vodka straight from the bottle”. Um, Lindsay, did you forget about your stint in rehab?

Britney Spears was none too happy when she boarded her United Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Miami Friday night…why? Because the friggin’ plane did not have leather seats. She demanded to be let off right before takeoff. A passenger told Splash News:

“She just said, ‘I don’t want to fly on this plane. It hasn’t got leather seats,’ Some people were getting really annoyed.”

The captain had to oblige to her request and later apologized to the passengers. She ended up taking a private plane to Florida. See the video here.

Britney performed at the House of Blues last night and had some technical difficulties. Hopefully those have been ironed out for her performance tonight and I’m sure we’ll all find out.

Note to Britney: I think you need to charter a private plane for your future travels. You’re gonna piss a lot of people off if you do a repeat tantrum and delay another flight. Whatever!!

Cameron Diaz and Criss Angel still feel the magic is there. Week number two finds Cameron in Vegas again to hang with her favorite magician. They had dinner Friday at Treasure Island’s celeb hot spot, Social House. After dinner, they headed over to PURE Nightclub at Caesars Palace, evidently whispering sweet nothings to each other. After leaving PURE at around 1:15 AM, they were spotted at Hard Rock Hotel’s Body English. Quite the partiers, aren’t they? So Cam, was it as good as last weekend?

In just three months after she got the all clear from her doctors that she was cancer free, Farrah Fawcett has learned that her cancer has returned. Doctors found a small malignant polyp in the same area where she was treated for rectal cancer earlier this year. Luckily, the cancer has not spread, Chasing Farrah exec producer Craig Nevius told E! News, and that physically she is doing well.



Nevius told E! News that Farrah is suing the National Enquirer regarding a December 18, 2006 story titled, “Farrah Begs: Let Me Die!”.

“While Farrah is prepared to continue the fight she began last fall, she is not prepared to allow the tabloids to continue to invade her privacy or use one confirmed truth as the foundation on which to build numerous fabricated articles which are always attributed to ‘unnamed sources’—either because they are not credible or because they don’t exist,” Nevius said in a statement. While Farrah still believes ‘Positivity Is a Necessity,’ it is now clear that the tabloids are as invasive and malignant as cancer and must be dealt with in the same aggressive manner…Farrah knows that her fans (or any human being with a heart, soul or conscience) will understand and support her position.” She is planning to sue for libel, invasion of privacy and infliction of emotional distress.
