Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo escorted his lady love, Carrie Underwood, to the Academy of Country Music Awards this evening in Las Vegas. Congratulations to Carrie, as she picked up Album of the Year for her debut CD, Some Hearts (which is one my favorite CD’s!). Being an American Idol sure has paid off for her! Well, they didn’t show that much footage of Jordin here in Arizona - so much for the American Idol crew following Jordin around seriously all day long Friday and for most of it to end up on the cutting room floor…Whew, one hour, three contestants, three songs each…Here we go:



Jordin Sparks: Simon’s pick for Jordin was “Wishin on a Star.” I really love her voice and of course, did a wonderful job!! Randy said that it was a very good vocal, “that was hot!”, Paula said that she did a beautiful job, and Simon said that she sang it brilliantly but he didn’t like the arrangement.



Blake Lewis: Paula picked “Roxanne.” Another great performance for my Blake. Randy said that it was a great, great performance, Paula said that it was fantastic and fresh, Simon said that it was good, it wasn’t great.



Melinda Doolittle: Randy chose “I Believe in You and Me”. Wow, I must say that she really dug deep for this one, it gave me chills while she was singing it. Awesome! Randy said that it was hot, blew it out of the box, Paula said that it was fantastic (this is Paula’s favorite word of the night), and Simon said that it was the best performance in the last four weeks and Round 1 goes to Melinda.

Well, well, well. Kim Kardashian and New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush are dating!! US Magazine is reporting that the two were originally introduced last year by now defunct BFF Paris Hilton and former USC teammate and now Arizona Cardinal QB Matt Leinart. They hooked up earlier this year after Kim split with Nick Cannon but it’s only now that their relationship is starting bloom.



Just last month Kim agreed to a multi-million dollar settlement with Vivid Entertainment over the company’s unauthorized release of her infamous video featuring her having sex with her ex-boyfriend, singer Ray J.



Note to Kim: I’d keep what you do between the sheets private or you’ll end up with Sex Tape #2.

Well, I’m not quite sure how this happened, but apparently Cameron Diaz and Mindfreak magician Criss Angel hooked up last night in Vegas. They had dinner at Bellagio’s Prime Steakhouse, then headed to the Mirage to see Cirque du Soleil’s Beatles tribute LOVE.



They were also seen last Saturday at the VH1 Rock Honors and then both partied at the Jet Nightclub. Cam was supposed to leave Vegas on Sunday, but decided to stay until Tuesday. I dunno about this one…it’s FREAKY. What do you think?

Two months ago even? Whoa, they kept that one tight lipped! In Touch Weekly was told…

“Denise and Richie broke up two months ago,” but according to a friend of the actress, “they didn’t want to make it public because they lived through public divorces and it was very painful.”

Denise told In Touch - “I take my life one day at a time. I’m in a really happy place.”



So does this mean and Denise and Heather Locklear can be friends again?
