In the above photo, Tom and Suri Cruise bid France adieu as they leave the Eden Roc Hotel in Cap d’Antibes on Friday. They spent the week vacationing, along with Katie Holmes, and then attended Australian media mogul James Packer’s wedding.

Meanwhile, reports are surfacing that Tom is interested in investing 80 million dollars into the Los Angeles Galaxy, the very same team that good friend David Beckham will start playing for next month. A source revealed:

“To have Tom’s backing would be amazing - there’s no way Galaxy bosses would turn down that opportunity.”

What’s next? Is he going to fund the Spice Girls Reunion with Victoria Beckham? Sheesh.

Fergie’s music video for “Big Girl Don’t Cry” will be fused into ads this fall to promote the clothing line Candie’s at Kohl’s Department stores. They will be on TV, print, and online. Candie’s is sold exclusively at Kohl’s and the brand encompasses clothing, footwear, jewelry, sleepwear, hats, and bedding.

The campaign debuts in September issues of fashion, entertainment and lifestyle magazines. The commercial will be shown nationally later this summer.

Eva Longoria and Tony Parker were out shopping yesterday in New York, no doubt doing some last minute shopping for their upcoming wedding on July 7th in Paris. They will marry at the French castle Chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte. All of Eva’s Desperate Housewives’ co-stars will be on hand to watch the nuptials including Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jamie Foxx, and Lionel Richie. The two plan to stay in Paris for the honeymoon, but not for long - Desperate Housewives is scheduled to start shooting on July 9th.

According to British papers, Prince William and his former girlfriend Kate Middleton are back on. They had previously split in April and earlier this month they were spotted at a party at an army barracks.

Prince William has asked Kate to the memorial concert for his mother, the late Princess Diana, which will be held at Wembley Stadium in London next Sunday. Reps for Prince William are not commenting on his private life.

Did you know that Heidi Klum could have been a Baroness? Heidi’s aunt researched their lineage and found out that the Klums were quite rich. She told the New York Daily paper:

“I have a whole history of my family. I had an aunt who really got into it and dug up the family tree. We used to be very rich and then we got very poor and we sold our title which was von Klum. Over a hundred years ago. They had to sell it. I would have been Baroness von Klum. I could be Baroness von Klum but now I am not.”

Well, even though she never became a Baroness, she definitely has made a name for herself on her own.

Hmmm. How cute are they together? Is this an American Idol match made in heaven? They have denied that they are seeing each other, but TMZ is reporting that they were seen “holding hands” while at a Fry’s Electronics store near Los Angeles. The TMZ spy said that they basically just browsed throughout the store and looked “happy” to be together. Blake was overheard telling Jordin, “We should call your mom.” Um, for what exactly, Blake?

We all know that Jordin is only 17 years old and Blake is 25. Quite an age difference there. I think they are just close friends and are more like brother and sister to each other…nothing else. But who knows? They will be spending quite a bit of time with each other this summer when they tour with the rest of the Idols.

It’s official. Eddie Murphy is the father of Melanie Brown’s baby, 2 1/2 month old Angel Iris Murphy Brown. Eddie had a paternity test done on June 11th.

Mel B has always maintained that Murphy was the father of her baby, even after Eddie publicly proclaimed on a talk show in December that “he didn’t know whose child that is”.

A source told the Brit newspaper, The Sun, that for Melanie it wasn’t about money, it was about Angel knowing who her father was. Well, Eddie, it’s time to take care of one of your own.
