Bindi Irwin, 8-year-old daughter of Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, will be launching a children’s clothing line titled “Bindi Wear International”. She told WWD last week:
“My Daddy was working to change the world, so everyone would love wildlife like he did. Now it is our turn to help.”
100 percent of the proceeds will go to Australia’s conservation programs. For the last seven years, an Irwin family friend, Palmina Distasi, has been designing the line exclusively for the Australia Zoo, and now that it’s going international, she has plans to make it more fashion forward. Distasi has even incorporated some of Bindi’s own artwork into the designs.
