David Beckham scored his first goal yesterday during the L.A. Galaxy’s match against D.C. United. He got his first assist as well, sending a long pass to Landon Donovan, who scored and put the Galaxy at 2-0.

He told the AP:

“I felt I was going to score as soon as I had the ball in my hands.”
