Oprah Winfrey is battling the bulge again, this time is not her love for carbs, but her recent bout with a thyroid condition. Hypothyroidism is a condition that slows down your metabolism and makes you want to sleep all the time. In Oprah’s case, she was left feeling exhausted by the condition and ended up gaining 20 pounds. She took a month long vacation to Hawaii and yesterday her show focused on women’s health issues, including her thyroid condition. She wanted “other women who are going through the same thing to check on yourself and recognize that…it’s an issue we all share in common.”

Pamela Anderson is “having the best time of her life”. That is what she told OK! Magazine after she married Rick Salomon. I have to say, I do like their wedding photo above, but Rick needs to lose the beanie cap…

The couple told OK! that it was Rick who organized the quickie wedding ceremony at the Mirage, filled with white roses, balloons, and hundreds of votive candles.

Pamela’s driver and confidante, Errol Lyon, gave her away (her father gave his blessing) and Pamela wore a cream denim Valentino gown and Nei Lane jewelry as she walked down the aisle.

Adorable Suri Cruise is on this week’s cover of Us Weekly and wow, she is growing up fast…She’s already 18 months old! An insider at the Cruise camp said that “Tom doesn’t like associating with people who aren’t Scientologists.” Even Suri’s nannies are believers as well.

TomKat have a hard time saying no to their little one, trying always to please her.

“Suri pretty much does whatever she wants, whenever she wants. If she fusses before bed, they let her stay up later. If they want her to go swimming and she cries, they’ll take her out. If she whines about food, they’ll ask her what else she wants to eat. They always want to please her.”

Let’s hope she doesn’t grow up to be a spoiled brat.

Madonna has just inked a deal with Live Nation that will make her almost $120 million dollars richer over 10 years. This gives Live Nation a stronghold on her albums, tours, films, merchandising, and other music projects.

There was much speculation about this deal, as she was waiting to see if her current label, Warner Brothers Records, would match the offer from Live Nation, and obviously they didn’t.

Madonna feels that too much is changing in the music biz world and saw what Live Nation could do for her.

“The paradigm in the music business has shifted and as an artist and a business woman, I have to move with that shift,” Madonna said. “For the first time in my career, the way that my music can reach my fans is unlimited. I’ve never wanted to think in a limited way and with this new partnership, the possibilities are endless.”

Kate Hudson has recently dumped Dax Shepard after dating only three months and now is setting her sights back on her ex, Owen Wilson. It is said that photos of Hudson and Shepard kissing is what set Owen off and led to his attempted suicide in August.

A source revealed:

“After his suicide attempt, she realized how much she loved him and broke up with Dax.”

Kate split with Wilson in June over her disapproval of his wild lifestyle. Wilson is on the road to recovery, even attending the Los Angeles premiere of his new film, The Darjeeling Limited a couple weeks ago.

It seems that Lindsay Lohan’s hard partying ways in the months leading up to her recent stint in rehab has cost her a pretty penny. She’s so broke that she can’t even afford to stay anywhere, instead staying at a rich friend’s mansion.

She has spent $1 million dollars on a hotel bill alone, $137,000 in rehab costs, and thousands more in legal fees.

Tom Gores, executive producer of her bomb of a film, I Know Who Killed Me, is the billionaire friend that is letting her stay in his guest house.

A friend revealed:

“Lindsay doesn’t have much choice as she is totally broke. The only reason she’s coming back to LA, is to earn some money fast. She still thinks nothing of blowing thousands of dollars on a single night of partying. And the amount she has wasted putting cocaine up her nose is disgusting. Even she has lost count.”

Lilo even had to sell her homes - a $2.85 million apartment in Los Angeles, and her $1 million New York apartment, because she couldn’t keep up with the mortgage payments.

The list goes on…

Sorry, but I don’t feel one bit of sympathy for her. She brought all this on herself.

Nicky Hilton is quite busy with her fashion designing again, this time showing off her “Chick” line of clothing at Sunday’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios in Culver City, California. Her parents, Ricky and Kathy Hilton, were there, but surprisingly Paris was not. Hey, even “My Name is Earl” star Jaime Pressly was there to check it out as well.

Dancing With The Stars co-host Samantha Harris will return next week after being on maternity leave. Her daughter, Josselyn Sydney Hess was born on Sept. 23. Drew Lachey, season 2 champ with Cheryl Burke, filled in while Samantha was off.
