Grey’s Anatomy star Eric Dane recently battled cancer, and talks about his ordeal with OK Magazine.

He saw in the mirror what he thought to be chapped lips and made an appointment to see the dermatologist. He found out that it was malignant tissue that was caused by sun damage. Dane is an outdoors person, having grown up in California. He surfed and skied and back then didn’t use sunblock as often as he should

The malignant tissue was burned off with liquid nitrogen and afterwards was given a cream to apply to the malignant area. He ended up having a severe reaction to it and was traumatized by the treatments. He lost weight because he couldn’t eat. (I’m sure he still has that hot bod) For him, it was an easy trade off so long as he was okay.
