Big buzz today regarding Lindsay Lohan’s Marilyn Monroe photoshoot for New York Magazine. I’m not very impressed with the photos, but for her to pose nude for the photos, okay, that’s newsworthy. See the NSFW photos below.

The photos were taken by Bert Stern, the same photographer who took the infamous “Last Sitting” Marilyn Monroe photos back in 1962. It was shot in the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles and it took over two hours to prep the thrice rehabbed 21-year-old, and she even admitted to doing 250 crunches the night before the shoot.

Could Lindsay meet with the similar fate Marilyn Monroe did just six weeks after her final photoshoot with Bert Stern? Lohan said, “I don’t know. But I sure as hell wouldn’t let it happen to me.”

We shall see, eh?

The racy photos of the Sacramento Kings cheerleaders are making their rounds all over the internet. The girls were snapped drinking, showing off their thongs, kissing girls, and just your normal bad girl behavior that the boys love. With Leather, posted the photos earlier this week and it just exploded from there. Of course, it’s not the kind of publicity that the Sacramento Kings franchise welcomes. They issued a statement to the Sacramento Bee:

“The photos of Sacramento Kings Dance Team members circulating on the Internet were published without the knowledge or permission of the Dance Team members or the Sacramento Kings, and they do not adhere to the principles and values of the Sacramento Kings organization.”

Certainly this will be the buzz during this weekend’s NBA All Star festivities.

Popular Hong Kong celebrity Edison Chen is embroiled in sex scandal involving Gillian Chung, Cecilia Cheung, and Bobo Chan. There is reportedly a sex tape of Chen and Maggie Q that has been released as well.

Edison Chen Incident

It has now been dubbed as the “Edison Chen Incident“. It all started when Chen brought his computer in for repair and employees of the shop stole the racy photos and alleged sex tapes. There have been over 1300 sexually explicit photos of Chen and the women that were stolen. Pictures have been released all over the internet and tabloids in Hong Kong have been quite busy keeping up with the daily release of new pics. See more here.

Chen is now feeling the rippling effects of the scandal, and his image is now tarnished. He has been dropped from the Stephen Chow film, Kung-Fu Hustle, Shaolin Soccer. Chen has made a statement on his blog and even posted a video (see below) of his apology as well.

Justin Timberlake was spotted shopping at Tiffany & Co. recently, sparking rumors that he is about to ask his lady love, Jessica Biel, for her hand in marriage. Hmmmm. Could they be engaged?

They have been dating for over a year but I’m not sure that JT is ready to settle down just yet.

Justin recently scored a Grammy win for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for “What Goes Around…Comes Around and Best Dance Recording for “LoveStoned/I Think She Knows”.

Actor Roy Scheider, widely known as the police chief in the blockbuster 1975 movie Jaws, died earlier today. He was 75 years old.

He died at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences hospital in Little Rock. His cause of death is unknown. However, a hospital spokeswoman said that he had been treated for multiple myeloma for the last two years.

His first foray into acting was back in 1961 in the role of Mercutio in a New York Shakespeare Festival production of Romeo and Juliet. He received an Oscar nomination for his role in The French Connection, and in 1979, received his second nom for his role in All That Jazz.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Seimer, three children, and two grandchildren.

Looks like there might be another Hollywood hook-up…this time it’s Lipstick Jungle star Lindsay Price and Matthew Perry, who are rumored to be dating.

Matthew Perry was seen at the Lipstick Jungle party at Dip in New York on February 2nd, and many of the guests were wondering why he was there. A source told OK! that he was there to meet up with Lindsay. The source also confirmed that they left together later that evening.

Lindsay has recently ended her marriage of three years to TV producer Shawn Piller.

Celebrities and rehab. They just go hand in hand, don’t they? Kirsten Dunst is the latest to check in at the Cirque Lodge treatment center in Sundance, Utah. It’s the same facility that Lindsay Lohan and Eva Mendes have previously entered as well. But…a spokesman for Cirque Lodge has denied that she is there being treated.

Kirsten’s recent behavior at the Sundance Film Festival had people wondering if there was something wrong with her. A source told Page Six that she “acted erratic” while at Sundance and that she was “on the verge of a breakdown”. Her rep issued a statement at that time and said that she was fine.

Evidently Kiki hasn’t gotten over her split with Jake Gyllenhaal either…three long years ago. A source told E Online:

“She’s never really been the same since she broke up with Jake,” the source said. “Never.”

Okay, so I’m aging myself here, but Family Ties was one show I just absolutely loved back in high school. Never missed an episode. It was great to see them all together again this morning on the Today Show. Check out the video below.

The cast reunited in support for Family Ties creator David Goldberg’s new book, Sit Ubu Sit, which, you may remember, was the tag line at the end of each Family Ties episode. Michael J. Fox, Meredith Baxter, Michael Gross, Justine Bateman, and Tina Yothers were all there…notably missing was Brian Bonsall, little Andy, but he was another one of those child stars gone bad…he’s currently on probation…heh heh.

Ugh…I can’t believe this has happened. Shaq is headed out west…this time to the Phoenix Suns. In exchange for this trade, we say goodbye to Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks.

I question the fact that Shaquille O’Neal can keep up with the Phoenix Suns’ running game, but Boris Diaw seems to think it’s not going to be a problem. He told the media today:

“I think it will be OK. Usually, when we play fastbreak, it’s not five guys down the court. It’s always two or three. We’re still going to play some fastbreak and now we’ve got more leverage for the halfcourt.”

Okay fine…hello…he’s out with a hip injury and he’ll be turning 36 years old. He passed the physical exam today that was required of the Suns…evidently he’s down to 312 and has a low percentage of body fat. I’d like to know what Suns owner Robert Sarver has to say about going back on his word that he wouldn’t trade any the “core players”. This was just two weeks ago that he stated that…Oh well, what does he care, right?

Shaq even called Steve Nash and Amare Stoudemire and told them, “I will not let you down.” Let’s hope not…

We’ll miss you Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks…I just hope Shaq doesn’t bring all of his personal drama (divorce from his wife, Shaunie) with him to Phoenix as well….
