Not only is Leryn Franco part of the Paraguayan Olympic team as a javelin thrower, she is a catwalk model as well.

Of her modeling, she said:

“Modeling is a way for me to continue with my sport, the hours are flexible, and you can earn good money through photographic modeling and the catwalk.”

This 26-year-old beauty was a runner-up in the 2006 Miss Paraguay beauty pageant and competed in the Miss Bikini World contest as well.

As a javelin thrower, her personal best is 55.38 meters, which does not make her a strong medal contender, but of note, this is her second Olympics.
