By now everyone has already heard Alec leave his daughter Ireland the most disturbing voice mail message, and now Alec Baldwin is trying to save face from it. Here is what he posted on his website:

“Although I have been told by numerous people not to worry too much, as all parents lose their patience with their kids, I am most saddened that this was released to the media because of what it does to a child,” he wrote. “I’m sorry, as everyone who knows me is aware, for losing my temper with my child. I have been driven to the edge by parental alienation for many years now. You have to go through this to understand. (Although I hope you never do.) I am sorry for what happened. But I am equally sorry that a court order was violated, which had deliberately been put under seal in this case.”

Alec’s attorney, Vicki Greene, filed a court order Friday to find out how the tape got leaked and to see whether there should be legal action taken against Kim Basinger, her attorneys, Harry Levin (TMZ.com), or anyone else that had something to do with the tape being leaked.



Here’s the thing, Alec. At this point, the world doesn’t care who leaked the tape - you’re such a sorry excuse for a father and now you’re just grasping at straws to shift the blame on someone else for your actions. Give me a friggin’ break.

Unbelievable. TMZ is reporting that Alec Baldwin left his daughter, Ireland, a voicemail yesterday in which he called 11 year old Ireland a “rude, thoughtless little pig”. It’s really sickening to hear how this man continually berates his own daughter, then for him to also speak of her mother in such a vile manner. I feel so bad for Kim Basinger, who had to endure 9 years of marriage and dealing with this crap. This little incident has now temporarily suspended any contact that Alec can have with Ireland. A judge could permanently (hopefully) deny visitation or contact with Ireland on May 4th, when there will be a hearing regarding this matter. Gah, what a loser Dad.

**UPDATE** - Alec released this statement to “EXTRA”:

“In the best interest of the child, Alec will do what the mother is pathologically incapable of doing … keeping his mouth shut and obeying the court order. The mother and her lawyer leaked this sealed material in violation of a court order. Although Alec acknowledges that he should have used different language in parenting his child, everyone who knows him privately knows what he has been put through for the past six years.”

Whatevah!! Let’s see you try and recover from this stint, Alec.
