Beyonce Knowles arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, Philippines on Tuesday via her private jet for her concert at The Fort in Taguig City on Wednesday. (More photos are below.) The plane touched down around 2:00 PM amidst a drizzle (girlfriend, cover your hair!).

Security will be tight at the concert, as there are over 150 policemen that will be there to make sure nothing gets out of hand. In addition to the policemen, security guards and bouncers have also been hired for the event. Concert-goers will have to go through a three layer security check before entering the venue. (Three layer security check?) The concert, dubbed “The Beyonce Experience: Live in Taguig 2007”, is being put on by Globe and MTV Philippines.

Beyonce Knowles has canceled her first ever concert in Malaysia but will instead perform in Jakarta, Indonesia on November 1st, which is not as strict about how performers dress at a concert. Her talent agency, International Creative Management, has said that Beyonce’s November 1st show in Kuala Lumpur was canceled because of a scheduling conflict.

Malaysian government demands that female performers cover up from the top of their chests to their knees, including their shoulders, and with Beyonce’s sexy look, that would be difficult for girlfriend to adhere to those strict rules.

Gwen Stefani recently performed in Malaysia, and made “a major sacrifice” by wearing clothing that didn’t show much skin - quite different from her usual sexy self. She also faced cancellation of her show if she did not adhere to the rules.

The triple divas were at the New York Knicks/New Jersey Nets game last night. The Nets won 104-95. Oh, Jay-Z was there too. Heh heh.

Beyonce was at a recent Sports Illustrated party and because of it has now become exposed to Hepatitis A by a member of the catering staff. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health is reporting that a prep cook from Wolfgang Puck Catering was diagnosed with acute Hepatitis A after working at the same Sports Illustrated party attended by Beyonce. That worker has also reportedly worked at 13 other events as well.

LA County Dept of Health says that the risk of infection is quite low, but they were urging any guests who had raw foods like sushi and fresh vegetables to get vaccinated immediately against the virus for precautionary measures. No word on whether Beyonce had the vaccination. Today is the last day that anyone from the SI party could receive the vaccine, as it is only effective for preventing Hepatitis up to 14 days after exposure to it.

“We are alerting our guests and staff as quickly as possible to ensure they receive the relevant health warnings,” said a Sports Illustrated spokesman.

Oy, I think I need to rethink about eating sushi.
