Heh, I wonder if Eddie Murphy just cringed when he heard that his ex-wife Nicole Murphy and his ex-girlfriend turned Baby Mama Melanie Brown did lunch yesterday at the Ivy. Nicole brought along 5-year-old Bella, the youngest of Nicole’s 5 children with Eddie, and Mel B toted 4-month-old Angel Iris. Witnesses say that they were quite friendly with each other (hmmm, conspiring?).

Their lunch was just one day after Mel B held a press conference claiming that Eddie “has not paid one penny of child support”.

It’s official. Eddie Murphy is the father of Melanie Brown’s baby, 2 1/2 month old Angel Iris Murphy Brown. Eddie had a paternity test done on June 11th.

Mel B has always maintained that Murphy was the father of her baby, even after Eddie publicly proclaimed on a talk show in December that “he didn’t know whose child that is”.

A source told the Brit newspaper, The Sun, that for Melanie it wasn’t about money, it was about Angel knowing who her father was. Well, Eddie, it’s time to take care of one of your own.

Melanie Brown, who just gave birth to her second daughter, Angel Iris Murphy Brown, is taking Eddie Murphy to court to force him to take a paternity test. Scary Spice told PEOPLE:

“He’s not doing a DNA test and he’s not signing the birth certificate. So it’s going to have to go to court so he can be forced to do it, which is strange since he was the one asking for it.”

Now, come on, Eddie. If you want to know if you are really the father, then ante up and provide your DNA already. Sheesh. Let’s just get this over and be done with it!

How ironic that Melanie Brown delivered a baby girl earlier this morning at 12:11 AM, and on Eddie Murphy’s birthday no less. She did not have the baby by C-section, she delivered naturally and the baby girl weighed in at 5 pounds, 6 ounches and is 18 inches long.



Much press has been made about Eddie denying that he is the father of Mel’s baby. He was quoted as saying last year:

“I don’t know whose child that is, until it comes out and has a blood test.”

A source told US Magazine that Mel did not tell Eddie that she gave birth, she said - “He can read about it.”



Oy, they should be on “The Maury Show”.
