Adriana Lima and Marko Jaric are engaged
The Brazilian bombshell and NBA player have been dating for the last nine months. Marko, 29, admitted to PEOPLE that he “fell hard” for Adriana (c’mon, who wouldn’t?)…
“I was not the person to fall in love easily. I am a difficult person from that standpoint. Now, it’s a little different situation.”
Rumors ran rampant last March that Adriana and Marko were engaged after Marko was spotted shopping for engagement rings. The rumor was dispelled after Marko spoke to PEOPLE:
“I am not shopping right now. But I could start tomorrow. I am that close. I’m definitely not yet engaged, but it doesn’t mean we’re not thinking about it.”
Well…looks like he went shopping after all…

Are Nicole Richie and Joel Madden officially engaged?
The buzz is that Joel Madden popped the question Thursday. Madden and his band, Good Charlotte, had a Friday night performance at the Hot 99.5 Lil’ Black Dress Party hosted by Perez Hilton at the Clarendon Ballroom in Arlington, Virginia. As Joel walked offstage, the morning DJ from 99.5, Kane, told the crowd, “He got engaged yesterday. Congratulations, Joel!” Joel then looked back over his shoulder but didn’t respond. Kane told PEOPLE that he heard the news Friday morning and was informed by “good sources”. He went on to say that he congratulated Joel on the news and Joel responded, “Thank you so much.”
Nicole was not seen at the party, but she and Joel were spotted around Washington, D.C. earlier in the day.

Presidential wild child twin Jenna Bush is engaged to her longtime boyfriend Henry Hager. Henry is the son of John H. Hager, who is the U.S. Education Department assistant secretary.
Henry did work at the White House as an intern for Karl Rove, but moved on to work on the Bush/Cheney re-election campaign. He will be attending the University of Virginia’s Darden School to finish his MBA. The two have been together since 2004.

No wedding date has been set.
Grey’s Anatomy star Kate Walsh told US Magazine that she and her boyfriend, studio exec Alex Young, got engaged over the weekend. Things are looking up for Miss Walsh - as ABC has also picked up her spinoff series from GA, Private Practice for a full season. The show will air on Wednesdays at 9:00 PM.

She finally said yes to her boyfriend, Blake Fielder-Civil, after contemplating the marriage proposal for 24 hours. They met two years ago, but she split with him last year because of his philandering ways. They got back together last month. She told “The Sun”:
“We are very close and the best of friends. I don’t want to be with anyone else and nor does he. I am a very lucky girl to have found someone I love a lot. I want to be with Blake for the rest of my life.”
Best of luck to you, Amy but I’d be careful if I were you. You know how the saying goes - once a cheat, always a cheat.

According to BANG Showbiz, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are engaged to be married. They almost married in Las Vegas on February 17, but wanted to get Nicole’s dad (Lionel Richie’s) blessing. They evidently picked out matching silver and diamond rings in a jewelry boutique in Caesar’s Palace. They stopped short of marrying at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Vegas, where they reportedly waited outside forever. Um, cold feet maybe?
Lionel Richie has welcomed Joel into the family and is thankful for everything he has done for Nicole. The wedding reportedly will take place at Mexico’s Las Ventanas Resort in Cabo San Lucas - a small ceremony with less than 100 people.

Lisa Ling, an Oprah Winfrey correspondent and former “The View” co-host, is engaged to Paul Song, a Chicago oncologist. Dr. Song flew Lisa’s family and his own to Chicago over the the holidays to surprise Lisa at Charlie Trotter’s, where he proposed to Lisa in a private dining room.
The couple met through mutual friends and plans are being made for a wedding later this year.
