Jennifer Lopez gives birth to twins!!

Jennifer Lopez gives birth to twins earlier this morning.

It’s a boy and girl for Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony. Jennifer gave birth earlier this morning in a Long Island hospital. Baby girl Lopez-Anthony was born at 12:12 A.M. and weighed 5 lbs 7 oz, Baby boy Lopez-Anthony was born at 12:23 A.M. and weighed 6 lbs. This is Jennifer’s first child. Marc has three other children.

Jennifer’s manager, Simon Fields, told People:

“Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon.”

Congratulations! I can’t wait to see those $6 million dollar photos in People Mag. Heh.

As the world has been waiting on bated breath for Jennifer Lopez to announce she is pregnant (watch the video below), the world can breathe a sigh of relief as she confirms what we’ve been waiting to hear for months. She is pregnant. No word yet if she is having twins, but alas that news will take months to surface as well.

Jennifer made the announcement during her her Miami stop of her and hubby Marc Anthony’s El Cantante Tour. She announced to the audience:

“Marc and I are expecting!”

With that announcement came cheers from screaming fans. Jennifer told them, “We waited until the last show to tell you.”

Jennifer Lopez’s grandmother, Julia Rodriguez, died Saturday. Beecher Funeral Home in Pleasantville, Westchester County, confirmed her death but did not release any other details.

Jennifer was performing in a concert Saturday in Los Angeles when she was told the news that her beloved grandmother had passed. It was Rodriguez who was the inspiration behind Jennifer opening up Madre’s restaurant in Pasadena, California in her honor.

Jennifer’s rep, Leslie Sloane-Zelnick, said that JLo is “mourning with her family right now”. Julia Rodriguez is the mother of Jennifer’s mother, Guadalupe Lopez.

A Mass was held today at 10:00 AM at hte Holy Cross Church in the Bronx.

Like we didn’t already know…Us Weekly is reporting that they have confirmed from several sources that Jennifer Lopez is indeed pregnant - four months along - and even Jennifer’s mother, Guadalupe, is spilling it that “she’s having twins”.

Jennifer appeared on MTV’s TRL on Monday and co-host Damien Fahey told Us that it was obvious she was expecting.

“I’ve been around a lot of pregnant women. She walked around like a pregnant woman, sat like a pregnant woman and stood like a pregnant woman,” he says. “If I were a betting man, I’d definitely bet she was pregnant.”

Lopez reportedly is ecstatic over the news, since she has had a difficult time conceiving in the past. This is Jennifer’s first child, hubby Marc has three children from previous relationships.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony attended the premiere of their movie “El Cantante” in New York this evening. The movie chronicles salsa great Hector Lavoe (Anthony), from his start in New York to his death in 1993 from AIDS, as told by his wife Puchi (Lopez) in flashback. The movie is due out in theaters nationwide on August 3rd.

Here are some pictures of arrivals for US Magazine’s Hot Hollywood 2007 party held last night.

Jennifer Lopez was the mentor tonight a la Latin style. I think of all the themes so far, this was probably the hardest one to date for the contestants. Don’t forget, Jennifer will be performing tomorrow night for a special one hour results program. Geez…An hour? I bet there’s going to be another “group performance” tomorrow. Oy. Here’s the rundown:

Melinda: She sang “Sway”. Every week she is consistent but for me this week I got kind of bored while she was singing. I’m such a huge Mindy Doo fan so I was surprised that I just wasn’t into it. Randy said that it was another solid performance but didn’t think it was her best, Paula said that she was very sultry, smooth, it was a subtle and sexy performance, Simon said that he didn’t like it…whoa…it sounded lounge cabaret, a bit lazy, a bid wooden. Ouch.

Lakisha: She sang “Conga”. I thought she did well tonight, but nothing spectacular like she’s done in the past. Eh, it was okay. My husband thought her dancing was muy bad - even after JLo was helping her out with her moves. Heh heh. Randy said that it looked like she was having a good time and that she made it her own - it was hot, Paula said that she looks lovely, but it was a real safe Lakisha, Simon said that it was quite a safe song to do and the dancing wasn’t very good. LOL.

Chris: He sang “Smooth”. I thought it was pretty good, but right now I’m more interested if he’s dating LC. Heh heh. Anyways, Randy said that it was very cool, Paula sid that it was a hot and sexy performance, Simon said that it was more contemporary than the other two who sang before him and it was a good performance.

Haley: She sang “Turn The Beat Around”. Hot pants Haley is at it again. She barely recognizable with all the makeup she had on tonight. But, the girl knows what sells, and hot pants it was again for the night. Sorry, after tonight, I think it’s Haley’s turn to go buh bye tomorrow night. Randy said that it was really karaoke, Paula said that it’s not a singer’s song but she had fun, Simon said that she has a good tactic - to wear the least amount of clothes…heh heh. He couldn’t understand most of what she was singing tonight.

Phil: He sang “Maria Maria”. Eh, besides the cracking of his voice two times tonight he wasn’t that bad. Randy said that he didn’t connect with him, Paula said that it was a good vocal, and Simon said that there was no originality and his voice cracked towards the end.

Jordin: She sang “The Rhythm Is Gonna Get You”. I loved that she put her own spin on the song. Love our hometown girl!! Randy said that she had the “yo factor”, that was hot! Paula said that she is so authentic, so adorable, Simon said that it was like the rest, safe.

Blake: He sang “I Need to Know”. Gah, he was awesome tonight. I just love this guy Randy said that it was the best song choice and hot performance, Paula said that it was very smart, captured who he was, Simon said it was the best song choice of the night and best performance of the night.

Sanjaya: He sang “Besame Mucho”. First of all, to hear Jennifer Lopez say “He really impressed me” just about made me choke on my drink. Heh heh. Okay, people. He was actually pretty good tonight. I cannot believe I’m saying this. Randy said that it was really good, Paula said that it was nice, very very nice, Simon said that he sang like a 14 year old BUT “it wasn’t horrible”.

There you have it, folks. I’m predicting that Phil might be leaving tomorrow night because for Haley, her hot pants saved her yet again.

Ya know what Jennifer…I’d kill to have a body like yours! Again, it’s nice to see someone like JLO putting it out there that obviously you don’t need to be a size 0 or waif like in Hollywood to be successful.
