Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo Back On?
A witness at the N9NE Steakhouse in Dallas told PEOPLE Mag that the two were canoodling in a corner booth and were all smiles. If they had split a few weeks back like all the tabs were reporting, well, their public display of affection certainly silenced those rumors.

A brunette Jessica Simpson dons the cover of Harper’s Bazaar August edition and chatted with designer friend Michael Kors for a write up in the mag. Um, I gotta pick this issue up, just so I can laugh my ass off!! Here are just a few snippets of what she said:
On plastic surgery:
“I’ve had none. But maybe after having kids, if my boobs dropped down to my bellybutton, I would get them lifted. But you know, my boobs are real.”
That’s right, Jessica…and according to your father they’re “Double D’s!!”. Heh heh.
On John Mayer:
“I love his Continuum record. There’s your answer.”
Ooooh, nice comeback. Quick on your feet!

Jessica Simpson’s new movie, Blonde Ambition is so bad that her manager father has decided to delay the release. The movie is based on the 80’s film Working Girl and it co-stars Luke Wilson. The New York Daily News reported that the release date was originally scheduled for August 3rd, but has now been moved to the last week of August. Jess’ father was not comfortable with the level of competing movies coming out next month.
Another insider said that Jessica wasn’t very focused on set (well, how surprising, heh) and that she had trouble remembering her lines. She was always on the phone with her then boyfriend John Mayer as well.

The pictures say it all, don’t they? Just like my friends over at Celeb Warship said, this definitely had to have been awkward.
Jess and John headed over to Cabo for the weekend but it looks like it wasn’t a romantic love fest as they probably had hoped. Is it really over this time?

Jessica Simpson did dye her hair brown a while back because John Mayer told her to do so. That’s what sources are telling US Magazine. John told Jessica that he wanted her to change because he didn’t want to be dating a “blonde bimbo”. Well, now that they have supposedly split, Jessica is back to her original blonde ‘do. BUT, Jessica had said at the Cannes Film Festival on May 18th that she was going back to her blonde locks because of her upcoming role in her new film, Major Movie Star.
“I think I do have a little bit more fun as a blonde,†she told Us. “People take me a little too seriously when I’m a brunette. They think I’m trying to be dark and mysterious, when really I’m not.â€

Jessica Simpson was spotted shopping yesterday in New York City. John Mayer was nowhere to be seen, even though they had apparently hooked up Sunday night, when John spent the night in Jessica’s SoHo Grand Hotel room. Oh brother. On again, off again. Which is it going to be? Make up your minds already.

Can you believe it? Perez Hilton is reporting that the two split over the weekend. Sources told Perez:
“They officially called it quits this past weekend. They’d been having problems for a while now and just decided it’d be better to end things.”
Hmmmm. I wonder what Papa Joe Simpson thinks about John now? He told PEOPLE just a few days ago that he gave Mayer the “thumbs up”.
