You all know how much I love American Idol winner Jordin Sparks. Her second single, “No Air” features Chris Brown. Watch the two cuties below in the new music video “No Air“.

It was announced last week that Jordin will be touring with Alicia Keys during her “As I Am” tour this spring. She’ll begin touring April 19th in Virginia and will continue through June.

Did you catch her National Anthem performance at the Super Bowl? She was spot on as usual.

US Magazine has put out their Hot Hollywood Power Players 2007 and our hometown girl, American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, is listed as “The People’s Choice”.

Jordin, who at 17 was the youngest winner of American Idol, now has a Jive Records deal and is following in the footsteps of two widely popular American Idol winners - Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. Her new album is set to debut on November 20.

American Idol winner Jordin Sparks has signed a record deal with Jive Records. The 17-year-old released a statement:

“American Idol has truly been a life altering experience. [This] is hopefully the beginning of another dream opportunity for me to deliver the kind of meaningful music I love. I can’t wait to share this next chapter of my story with all the fans that have supported me so far.”

Jordin’s first single, “Tattoo” will be released August 27th.

Our hometown girl, American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, returned to the Valley last night for a nearly sold out concert with her fellow American Idol contestants. I read some comments online regarding the show last night and evidently the sound system sucked. The American Idol crew didn’t want to use the sound system in the Jobing.com Arena, but instead use their own. Heh, they probably just wanted to mask Sanjaya’s voice….

This last Friday, the crew from American Idol followed our own Arizona girl, Jordin Sparks, while she made some stops here in Phoenix. It was quite a spectacle in Glendale, where Jordin resides. She should know by now that this whole state is rooting for her to become the next American Idol. I’m anxious to see the footage that they shot - it will be shown on Tuesday. She made her rounds Friday morning and did some radio promos, she said that Tuesday’s show she will be singing 3 songs!
