Well, it’s about time. The speculation can now rest as photos have surfaced of Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyleenhaal finally showing some PDA. We all knew it, but now the pictures prove it…heh heh. They were spotted in Rome taking a romantic vacation…

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal attended the premiere of their movie, “Rendition” at the Toronto International Film Festival last week, and just by looking at the body language in the above photo, it looks like things have definitely cooled between them.

At the after party for the movie, sources say that they still remained apart, but ended up together at the party for George Clooney’s movie “Michael Clayton”.

“They seemed like a couple,” an eyewitness tells Us. “Reese was happy and having a good time.”

The next morning, Reese went back to Los Angeles and Jake flew to New York.

“They’re a rocky couple,” says one insider. “It would not be a shock if they got back together.”

Okay, so remember when I told you that Reese Witherspoon was named Global Ambassador for Avon? Apparently all the while she was doing the press conference at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel, she had Jake Gyllenhaal hiding out in her secret guest suite.

After Reese’s press conference, she spent the night at Jake’s Hollywood Hills home. A source told Us that “Reese doesn’t have Jake spend the night when the kids are around.”

Avon has announced that it has chosen Reese Witherspoon as its first ever Global Ambassador. In this role, Reese will serve as the Honorary Chairman of the Avon Foundation, and will focus on breast cancer, domestic violence and emergency relief initiatives. She will also be the spokeswoman for Avon’s beauty brands and Sales Representatives.

Reese will be involved in product development and will appear globally in Avon advertising, websites, and company brochures. They did not disclose how much she will be compensated.

It looks as if Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are getting cozy again…or maybe they never split to begin with. Reese stopped by Jake’s Hollywood Hills home to pick him up and sped off into the sunset back to her Brentwood home. I still think Jake should hook up with Jennifer Aniston

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal’s romance was over quicker than we could even get good pics of the two together. A source in the Witherspoon camp told PEOPLE that the pair recently broke up and it’s totally and completely over.

“Reese was the one who had to do it,” says the source. “She just got out of a divorce and was so concerned with her family, she just didn’t have the time for him and he really demanded that. They’re still friends. Things are fine, but it was a clean break – [there’s] no chance of getting back together.”

Reese and her husband, Ryan Phillippe, split last October after having been married for seven years. They have two kids - Ava is 7 and Deacon is 3. Reese and Jake coupled up earlier this spring.

Man, too bad Jennifer Aniston’s got a new man…I would really love to see Jake and Jenn get together.

It looks as if Ryan Phillippe has been allegedly having an affair with 24 year old Australian actress Abbie Cornish. She was his co-star on the independent film “Stop Loss”. Rumors are that they did not even try to hide their heated affair on the set. A source told Us Weekly magazine: “Ryan admitted it was true and said, ‘We need to just end this.’ Reese literally had no choice.” The source said: “Ryan did not go out of his way to hide the fact that he was having a fling with his co-star Abbie Cornish. Besides the fact they were spotted making out in a sushi restaurant together, she was spotted many times leaving his loft apartment.”

Abbie’s rep of course has denied allegations and reps for Reese and Ryan are tight lipped as well.
