News.com.au is reporting that Britney Spears apparently tried to commit suicide while in rehab.

First of all, I would think that while you are in rehab you are under supervision at all times. Is she not making any progress? Maybe she needs to get out of this posh facility and get into a real one.

No, she didn’t bolt from Rehab, she was merely attending an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting Wednesday night in L.A.

Boy, what I wouldn’t give to enjoy gourmet meals, massages, and private rooms with an incredible view. Wait a minute!! I can get that in rehab. Yup, at Promises Residential Treatment Center I can be treated like a queen. Other celebrities who have taken advantage of this pristine Treatment Center just like Britney include Matthew Perry, Charlie Sheen, and Ben Affleck.

Just how much is it to stay at this swanky rehab facility? A mere $48,000 for a 30 day stay. Egads!! What can you expect for that amount of money? Your own beautician (well, not much hair to work with there), personal trainer, private counseling, and no chores (of course not).

I just find it hard to believe that in an environment like this that Britney will really be able to succeed. I think some sort of “tough love” is needed but maybe I’m wrong. I’m hoping that those two little boys of hers are going to be reason enough for her to get through this and come out of it really understanding what her addiction did to her and her family.
