“Denise and Richie broke up two months ago,” but according to a friend of the actress, “they didn’t want to make it public because they lived through public divorces and it was very painful.”

Denise told In Touch - “I take my life one day at a time. I’m in a really happy place.”



So does this mean and Denise and Heather Locklear can be friends again?

Prince William and Kate Middleton have split. A friend of the couple said that the breakup was “amicable”. They had been dating for almost five years. It comes as a surprise, since there was much speculation that the two were thought to be announcing their engagement soon.

It doesn’t help matters that William is in Dorset, taking an armed corps commander course, and Kate is in London, where she is an accessories buyer for Jigsaw.

One thing for sure - with Kate out of the picture and William now the most eligible bachelor in the world, all eyes will be on whomever the next Princess will be.

People Magazine is reporting that tennis champ Chris Evert and her husband, former Olympic skier Andy Mill, have split, the couple announced Friday.

“We are confirming that, after 18 years of marriage, we have decided to get divorced,” the couple said in a joint statement. “The decision is mutual, and our main concern is for our three sons. We know we have some difficult times ahead, together and apart, and hope that our family’s privacy will be respected.”

The couple, who married on the grounds of the Polo Club in Boca Raton, Fla. in 1988, met two years earlier at a New Year’s Eve party in Aspen, Colo. Their three sons are ages 15, 12 and 10.

“They’re my life, they’re the most important thing,” Evert told The Palm Beach Post in 2001, of her sons. “I’m busy, but I’m 100 percent a mom first.”

Evert, 51, won Wimbledon three times during her career and is known as one of the tennis world’s best ever female players. She was briefly engaged to another tennis great – Jimmy Connors – and also dated the actor Burt Reynolds.

Evert was married to the British tennis player John Lloyd for eight years. Mill, 53, a former American downhill ski champ, was also previously married.

PEOPLE Magazine is reporting that Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker have split up. “They did break up. It’s amicable,” the source says, adding, “They are talking and trying to figure the best course of action for their future. They are trying to work things out.” “It’s distance and demanding careers and not living in same city,” said the source. “It didn’t happen yesterday. It’s been going on for a while.” In an earlier statement issued by Longoria’s rep Liza Anderson on Friday, she said, “Eva and Tony are going through a very difficult time right now, just like any other couple with extremely demanding careers.” However, a source close to Parker told PEOPLE earlier Friday that Parker said rumors of a breakup were not true. While Desperate Housewives has been filming in Los Angeles, the San Antonio Spurs departed Texas on Friday afternoon to begin a training camp in France. Before leaving, Parker joined his team at a “media day” for sportswriters near the San Antonio International Airport, though he did not discuss his relationship with Longoria. Longoria, 31, and Parker, 24, met in November 2004 and, though they played coy at first, by August 2005, Longoria had confirmed they were a couple, asking PEOPLE, “What’s not to like?” In April, Longoria told PEOPLE she is happiest when in a relationship. “There’s no way in the world I would rather be single,” she said. “Tony is too. I’ve said the only reason Tony and I are going to stay together forever is because we’re too lazy to look for someone else.”
